1962 Metropolitan – Valley Village, CA – $10,000

Over 10 years with current owner. Upon acquiring the car in 2015, the car was brought here for extensive mechanical work. The engine was rebuilt, transmission sealed and serviced, differential rebuilt, clutch replaced, fuel system and cooling system completely gone through. Under 1200 miles have been put on the car since, and the car sat for approximately 3 years until it was just put back on the road. We just went through the entire brake system and clutch hydraulics, replaced the battery, generator and voltage regulator, and did a full tune-up. All lights and switches work including a newer original style AM/FM/Bluetooth radio. The car runs and drives well, but like any 60+ year old car it can use some minor things to be even better. The interior is newer and in good shape. The paint shines nicely but is older and has many blemishes and imperfections. The chrome on the bumpers and grille is showing some surface rust and peeling. It is a great, solid car that has been well cared for. It can be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level with a little work.

It can be seen M-F 8:30-5 at Metropolitan Pit Stop at 5324 Laurel Canyon Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91607
